Our Sky Q box has been very slow for a long time. It disconnects and reconnects to the network constantly, is very slow to download something and connecting to any apps such as Netflix. As a knock on effect all of our mini boxes have the same issue. We have tried turning it off/on, reconnecting all mini boxes, re entering the broadband password and end up in the same place. We have no issues with the broadband on any other device in the house and if we go to the apps through the tv instead of Sky, we have no issues. I think there is an issue with the Sky box itself.

Hi @Jefina Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with any Mini boxes?

Hi there. Did you get this sorted? I have exactly the same problem.

I updated the system and it seemed to make a difference for 48 hours. It's beginning to buffer again. Do no permanent fix I'm afraid

I ended up with a new sky box and updated all boxes to be on the same software. All mini boxes must be left switched on at least standby. Seems to have solved the problem
