Sky Go Issues
A long message.
1) I have a Sky Q box and all is good.
I have a strong broadband and internet connection, and a wired connection from the back of my Sky Q box to my BT router.
1 have no issues watching live tv on my Sky Q box. I can also watch Sky Go on my laptop.
I have noticed that when I go into Settings and then Status and then Watch via Sky Go there is a message that says Your Sky Q box is not enabled to connect to Sky Go. I then click on Reactivate and then click on Confirm and then it takes me back to Watch Via Sky Go. I have done a reboot by turning Sky Q box off at the wall and still no good.
2) On a separate issue. Recently I have noticed when I am watching television through my Sky Q box. Every so often I get a strange alert comes up on my screen asking whether I have any questions. I do nothing and alert disappears after about five seconds.

Do you have a multiscreen sub as you need this to link the Sky app to your Sky Q box as this then allow you to use the app to watch back your recordings when they are connected together.

I find modern technology difficult.
I now understand that if I do not have Multiroom Sub and no mini boxes I can only watch live tv on Sky Go on my laptop and I am not able to record etc on Sky Go because my Sky Q box is not able to connect to Sky Go, though of course I can still record on my Sky Q box.
Is all the above correct.
Out of interest how much is a multi room sub per month and a mini box.
I did make another point.
All of a sudden I am getting an alert on my Samsung Smart television about once every two hours. Press Button to explore answers. Is that coming from my Sky Q box or my Samsung Smart television.

That message is coming from your TV. Sky Q does not have any question/answer features like that.

That message is coming for your Samsung TV.
