Sky Go Extra

My kids have decided they want to start watching Sky sports through their Xbox in their room. When they have tried to log in it says I need Sky Go Extra. What options do I have please? Is this something I can just add on or do I need the multi room package?  Also any idea of costs please?

I had the same issue, and ended up paying £5 a month for the 'Sky Go extra' package.

No, you can watch, and download, on up to 4 devices (PC, phone, XBox etc).

Give Sky a call as they will be able to work out the best way to get it added for you. If you don't have multiroom then it costs £5 a month but can be free via Sky VIP as a reward.

I am a 16 years VIP but was told I couldn't have it for free.

Does it appear as a reward for you in the VIP section of the MySky app ?

It doesn't on mine. 
what's the main difference between just having sky go extra and having a multi screen box please?

Sky Go extra allows you to watch/download on devices that support the Sky Go app.

A multiscreen mini box plugs into a TV, and connects wirelessly to a Sky Q box.

Sorry for sounding thick... 

so if I was downstairs watching one channel could they watch a different channel upstairs with sky go extra? Is sky go content live as such or is it previous programmes that you can rewatch?

With Sky Go extra you can watch live programs, or programs you have downloaded to your device.

A mini box is an extension of your Q box and you can watch live programs, or anything recorded on your main Q box.
