Sky F1 race control features not working.

I have been waiting patiently for this issue to be resolved, and yet I am still being told that I need to upgrade my subscription to watch any of the race control features. 

 

The message looks like it's telling me to go to MySky which tells me that I already have Sky Sports HD, Sky Sports F1 and SKY UHD, so what exactly am I missing???

I was going to keep Sky until they lost F1 exclusivity, but I'm beginning to feel it is no longer worth the cost.

I am guessing this a quirk with red button now using the SKY Sports app on the box rather than the older Red button specific content & the fact you have just F1 rather than full sports. 

I am not 100% certain if this a problem for all single channels users or just some

Are you able to try accessing the race control features via a Tablet or PC via SKY Go or SKY Sports app ?

Hi @OllieP   My guess is you need Complete Sports with Sky Sports+, with emphasis on the Sky Sports+.

Yes, I can't take credit for finding it but the "launch of Sky Sports +" press release says - not clearly, but it does just about say it - that you need a "full" Sky Sports subscription to access the Sky Sports+ app, and any of the streams which are  Sky Sports+ streams.

This means that anything that moved away from Red Button and into the Sky Sports+ ecosystem is not available to us single F1-channel subscribers.

Now, if we could get Crofty to make this properly clear every time we have to suffer his excrutiating minute-long advert/explanation, it would be great. Or even better, get him to stop mentioning it altogether. 🙂

Just trying my iPad which is flat and charging opening up my sky and the channels on the tv connected to Sky Q started bizarrely flicking through channels so switched off the iPad and got F1 back on the TV as Qualifying is about to start. I'll try the iPad a bit later when it's charged and on my lap.
