Sky Dish Broken

Oh my god how on earth can I get anyone to book an engineer to fix my dish which has fallen down in the storm -  The Online Assistant is worse than useless and the helpline is a 40 minute wait charged at 5c a minute, what a joke!!!

@Maryoli  You post has been moved from the Broadband forum as this isn't a broadband related issue.

If you're in the ROI Sky Customer service does not operate over the weekend,  have you tried the link here? https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

Assuming you have Sky Q you should be able to book an engineer online, however pease be aware due to the storms it may be a couple of weeks at best before one will be able to get to you.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Maryoli

If you're in the ROI you need to contact Sky Ireland tomorrow. They aren't open over the weekend.

Re: Sky Dish Broken

Of course they aren't, shame they don't mention that on the phone call but want to keep you on hold forever. Thanks for the reply and letting me know though.

@Maryoli

If you have Sky+, this is no longer supported by Sky and you'd have to arrange a local (equally busy) satellite engineer at your own expense.
