Sky Cinema Offer Question

Hi, after the price rise forecast I cancelled Cinema to compensate saving £12 per month. I recently received an offer via email and text to keep Cinema for £6 for next 6 months. Wife persuaded me to take offer so I have done via the email link. Problem now is I've just seen this in the Q&A's (yes I should have checked first)

"Taking this offer will replace any existing Sky TV pack offers on your account (covers any Sky TV product)."

Does this mean I will lose all other TV offer on my a/c inc. Sports and Signature etc.

hope not as if I do. Y bill will sky rocket- no pun intended.

Anyone able to help?

Thanks

Hi @arthur64  Try logging into your account on SKY.com and look at your future bills, you should be able to see any alterations to your subscription on there!

Re: Sky Cinema Offer Question

Have you had a look at your account via the Sky Q main box?

Home > My Sky > Manage My Account > PIN > Bills > Click on next Month's Bill to see what's planned for payment and subs, including your discounts.

@arthur64

i would always phone them up to change and add packages not online!

i had this issue with mine that i have everything for £87 but then when i upgraded to UHD it said it was £102 when it was only £5 but once i phoned up they added it on for £4 instead and its the correct price.

ive also seen sometimes online it says 18-month contract but if you phone up its only 31-days contract

Re: Sky Cinema Offer Question

Update on this - As expected nothing is simple.

So my future bills now show Sky Cinema still full price (no £6 discount applied) but they have changed my Sky SPORTs package from complete to Sky Sports - 1 pack (no idea what that means but sounds like a downgrade from complete). So they have given this free, i presume to compensate for not reducing cinema. What the hell is going on at Sky I never asked them to touch the Sports pack. Been on phone and the guy with al due resprct didnt have a clue what I was talking about and just kept saying it will resolve itself (?). I am now on messenger chat to try to get some clarification as to what they have done to my a/c. Overall im paying £5 per month more with cinema but sounds like I'm losing some of the Sports channels by them forcing me on to the 1 PACK, the advisor could not even tell me what channels would be included in the 1 pack !!!!.

They did this to me also similar until i phoned up and got someone who knew what i was talking about bascially i had Sky HD add on but i wanted to add ultra HD which states "Ultra HD & HD" pack together which was £5 but they are charging me £7 for HD and then £5 for ultra HD but thats not what it says it says £5 is for Ultra HD & HD as when u click on the description it shows HD channels and then u have the added ultra HD pack but tried fobbing me off didnt work and i did get it for £5 for both as it states

That was good going because HD for 7 and UHD plus HD for 5 is clearly nonsense.
