Series Link Jumbled

Been having issues with my SkyQ box for over a year. Was told by an engineer ages ago its a national problemthey are working on but its been over a year now.

It records episodes jumbled up. Such as Emmerdale, Coronation St etc. Some episodes are recorded under a heading Other, some under the Series number. But as they are mixed up and don't always have the episode name on them then I have to try & work out the order myself which is a complete pain.

@Test+Man

Sky updated another thread regarding missing or blank thumbnails, which I believe is linked to the original stacking issue, stating you have to email the Viewer Relations Team with this issue at viewerR@sky.uk

No one is likely to respond to your frequent updates on here.

@Bellabobs

The engineer was correct. Sky have been working on this for a while.

Re: Series Link Jumbled

Yep, there was two long threads about this starting from August 2022, but they've been deleted by "unseen hands" for whatever reason even though the issue persists (particularly with Emmerdale, Coronation Street - occasionally - and Hollyoaks), and is not solved by deleting permanently the existing recordings, or even resetting the box completely.

Re: Series Link Jumbled

Just to add, for me Emmerdale episodes from last Friday and Monday were in one stack, yesterday's (Tuesday) episode was in a stack of its own.

Is this the same with you?

Re: Series Link Jumbled

@Daniel0210 It's not a fix, but I noticed if you series link on the standard ITV (803) not HD, it works. If you want HD, try series linking them at the same time, then just delete the SD one

Tuesdays do for some reason record in a new stack.

It works for us, but Sky need to pull their fingers out of their ears, and listen to their customers. Because in these times, Sky TV is a luxury for many....

Hope it works...

Re: Series Link Jumbled

Yesterday's and today's episodes of Emmerdale are in totally different stacks.

Re: Series Link Jumbled

The two episodes of Casualty last Saturday didn't stack together - they're in separate stacks and with no thumbnail.
