Second sky Q box

I have built a granny flat on my house and the people moving in have skyQ. I have skyQ in the main house already. Is there a way to get the second skyQ box of the people moving in added to my account? As both would have the same address I am been told by the people I can reach by phone this is not possible. The people moving in are wanting to bring their Q box as they have recordings they want to keep. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Their Sky subscription cannot be added to someone else's account. You've also been correctly advised that they cannot move their account to your address. Only one Sky TV subscription is permitted at a property.

The flat would require its own individual postal address on the Royal Mail PAF database.

As said above only one Sky subscription is allowed at one address, however it also impractical as you only have the single Sky dish and only one main box can be physically connected a normal domestic dish.
