Unfortunately it absolutely can, particularly with a model from that end of the market.
Changing the HDMI cable to a known good one would be the first thing to try, but note that nothing more than something like an Amazon Basics lead should be required.

The problem is SKY very old technology it take ages to reconnent it like when the internet first came out

Having the same issue here all of a sudden. Changed to a Sony TV in January, three months ago now.
Did the usual unplugs, reconnecting HDMI. Nothing fixed it. Last thing I thought to try before swapping hdmi cables was to use the Sony TV's reset function. It's done the job for now. For how long, we shall see. 🤨
