Screen Frozen

A guy from the sky help centre talked me through resetting my Apps, I only wanted to subscribe to Paramount +. Since then a message has come on the TV saying Accessibility on Sky Q and the screen has frozen not letting me get off that page. The guy said he would ring me back and hasn't. Can anyone suggest how to get off this page please. I have unplugged the TV and box and it hasn't changed anything.

If it's the screen I think you're referring to Sky have suggested the following...

  • Unpair their Sky Q remote from the box by holding 4&6
  • Wait for the remote to flash
  • Then dismiss the information screen "Skip & set up later"
  • Hold 1&3 to repair the remote control

If 4&6 does not allow you to clear the information screen, try holding 7&9 to reset the Sky Q remote then hold 1&3 and follow the on-screen setup journey to allow the remote to control the TV.
