hi @Rhian1239

As the others have said the box you had installed does not affect the Satellite Signal itself

I suspect somehow, during the install of the new box your SKY Q Satellite box has been disturbed and possibly the connections knocked.

Can you check  that   the cables at the back are properly connected

Well you don't NEED to. Nothing to stop you carrying on using Q and Stream is quite a different experience.

The OP disconnected them.

some installer didn't just show up and connect this up on a whim?

I wish they'd done a better job with the ONT location, and that fibre is cut awfully brief...

Agreed. I wouldn't want my fibre being subjected to that.

Sorry I missed that

@Rhian1239  you need to reconnect the cables from the dish - ensure that they are both connected and tight.

Just reconnect the Two dish cables to the Q box @Rhian1239

Just take care not to bend the central copper conductor in the two F connectors.

'Once it is connected back up reboot your Q box.

To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
