SKY startup

I have just had Sky installed. How do I start viewing on my TV. I turn my SKY on and then my TV. I cannot see where I can get to SKY?

Hitting the home (or Sky button) on the remote should automatically trigger the TV to change to Sky.  (If the TV is in standby it should turn it on too)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
