SKY Q not working

Sky q box not working. Have updated software, hard reset the box. Intermittent select channels, but 1 minute delay in switching channels. Can watch for short period then freezes and needs to be reset.

 You could try resetting the settings in the Q boxes hidden menu.
To enter the hidden menu press the home button and scroll down to settings but do not select settings.
With settings highlighted press 0 0 1
Only Carry out the first Reset being Reset Settings as the others will wipe all recordings.
After the reset you will have to re-pair your remote assuming you are using a bluetooth remote by pressing 1 and 3 together on the remote

Hi... thanks for response but yes I've gone through the 001 menu and used 'all' resets, with no joy. Im 99% surenits the hard drive as some of the sounds are similar to a PC drive thats skipping. I booked an engineers visit but two weeks before a visit with no TV in the meantime! Not much of a service for a customer of 25 years! Thanks again though for you thoughts  🙂

Tenure has no baring on engineer availability i'm afraid, you will have been given the earliest available slot.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
