SKY Q Box Connected to wall mounted face plat (Euro Module)
I recently upgraded my Sky HD to Sky Q.
My HD box connected to a Euro Style wall plate with two modules - one for each cable.
The engineer who upgraded advised that he couln't connect the new Q cables to the faceflate modules due to the possibility of interference. I now have a cable coming out of the wall directrly into the back of the Q box which is unsighly! Is anyone aware of this problem and of any workaround. I've looked on line and can see that there are two modlues avaialble " EuroFix 25x50mm Satellite Non- Isolated Modlue " and an Isolated Module version - would buying the correct one - Isolated / non- Isolated solve the problem, if so which one do I need.
Some futher infom - I am not connecting to a communal insolation, Just a single domestic connection.
Thanks

@MM74 This is the optimal type of media plate satellite connector, depending upon the angle between the incoming coaxial cable and the F type socket you may need to use a Right Angle F connector adaptor to prevent sharp bends in your coaxial cables.
A typical source of a suitable module; Link to typical Media Plate satellite connector

Re: SKY Q Box Connected to wall mounted face plat (Euro Module)
Many thanks – that’s most useful and I think I now understand the problem – my current Euro module requires the incoming cable to be cut and physical attached to the back of the module – not dissimilar to coaxial ariel cable fitting. It appears that the picture you sent requires the incoming satellite cable to be a attached to a male connecting adaptor, which is then screwed onto the female connecter on the back of the module.
