SKY Q BOX NOT WORKING

I recently ordered and received a new sky Q remote but the volume and voice control still dont work which makes me believe it is my SKY Q box

May I suggest you try a reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared

I did this on both old and brand new controller, it reset them and worked for maybe 5 minutes then once again the controller stopping working for volume and voice.

hmmm - this is very strange as Volume & voice are 2 completely different aspects.

The volume control, once set has no interaction with the SKY Q box - it uses infrared to mimic the codes from the TV's own remote.

Voice control depends on the remote being paired in bluetooth mode with the SKY Q box itself & then the box needs an internet connection

What happens when you try to use voice control - what messages do you get ?

THey are both non-responsive!! just dont do anything on old controller and the one that arrived yesertday

Pair it again. Does it work for 5 minutes again?
