Routing Sky Q through Hikvision POE switch.

I want to connect my Sky Q box to my Sky router via Ethernet.  I have recently had a Hikvision unmanaged POE switch installed in a central cupboard for CCTV and have two ports free.  It would make life much easier if I could route the Ethernet from the Sky Q box into the POE switch rather than running a  Ethernet cable down the wall directly into the router.  There is already a Ethernet lead running from the POE switch into the Sky router so it seems an easy fix to run the Sky Q Ethernet into the POE switch via the attic without running new conduit into the room with the  router.  Will the Sky Q box operate as it should by being routed through the POE?

No need to keep duplicating your thread @dick+t .

As previously stated your switch will be fine for Ethernet connection.
