Request an engineer to install a Q box

I have been waiting 20 days and made several phone calls lasting for hours to get an engineer to install Q box.

20 days is not significantly long. My son signed up to Sky Q on 23 November and it was installed on 23 December and that was obviously before the storms.

@Christine94 have Sky given you a date if so that will be the first available date that was available 


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

I have spent hours on the phone to both Sky and Domestic & General requesting Q Box and have been transferred from pillar to post both saying they cannot help as there is a problem with there IT section and it seems that no one is taking responsibility for the other. There total lack of communication and one of the problems is that all there employees seem to work from home and haven't a clue of what they are talking about. I spent nearly 30 years in customer service and this is the worst I have experienced.

Is this a new installation or replacing a faulty box? 

Domestic and General Insurance do not complete new installations. Likewise if Sky have arranged the doorstep swap of a faulty Sky Q box the courier just swaps them when at your front door.
