We have just got a replacement remote control however we can't seem to get it to
1. control the tv and volume
2. control the box unless we aim the remote directly at the box (the box is hidden behind the tv)
When we first got sky installed the man who come out connected the remote to the tv and to the box so that we could control it from anywhere in the room.
Hoping you can help.
Thanks

hi @JM080915
May I suggest you try a reset & pair of your remote:
Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times to reset th eremote
(although this reset step may not be needed)
Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared

Hi @JM080915
You might need to remove the box from behind the TV set so that you can correctly pair it
For the pairing process the remote needs Direct line of sight to the Q box infrared sensor.
Once it it is all correctly paired you can replace it behind the TV.
