Last friday my Q box gave up the ghost. Today the new box arrived, all up and working, but the new remote codes won't reconize my remote and say my TV is not listed, even though my old remote and box did control the TV.
I've looked at some YT vids but they seem to be the old style remotes where you could put the codes in manually, but don't work on the new Q remotes.
Can anyone help, it would be greatly appreciated.
My TV is a Hisense 55U8QF

Hi @Markymate06
Afraid all the latest Bluetooth remotes use Brand and model not codes.
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
If you still cannot re-pair your remote try going to Home - Settings - Setup - Remote control. Try setting it from there .
Note there is also a category Other brands. Try that

Thanks for the suggestion, but sadly to effect. Tried all 13 Hisense codes again, nothing. My TV doesn't even come up on the Hisense list and it's only 2 years old. Tried the other brands section, all 40 codes and no good. If this is Sky's technical advancement, then it's pants💩
So I guess it's back to the stone age of using two remotes.
Way to go SKY...

Wow - sky kindly sent me a new remote, but will it work with my Samsung ue37ef6701 - tried the new 'model method' this TV is not listed, tried via the setup > remotes and codes, no joy
Why build a 'new' remote that doesn't work with many TVs !?!??
