Remote annexe mini q box connection

I have as annexe which is 30m away from the main house which I would like to install a sky mini q box . At the moment it has an Ethernet cat 6 cable installed from a bt router to a bt WiFi booster . Is it possible to use a sky booster by the router and use the Ethernet cable to link to the sky mini q box . Then create a WiFi hot spot from the mini q box

hi @DrewE7

I don't quite think you can mix like that.

When your ISP is not SKy (& also with the newer SKY routers) you can't mix wifi & ethernet on SKY Q kit.

Thus both Main & minis must be connected to the home network via ethernet or the mini connected via ethernet direct to the main box

Can you connect your Main box via ethernet to your Router.  If you can, then connecting the end of your Cat 6 to am unmanaged switch would allow the mini to connect (& still use the BT wifi booster in there)

Thanks for the info . I'm still waiting for the new sky q mini to arrive. So when it does I'll give it a go.
