Main box not linking to TV but mini boxes working

My main sky box is not linking to my TV. The TV itself is working as are the mini boxes. I've tried turning off and on. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @Jane74 

Did you reboot as follows :-
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

If the Q box is not responding to the remote With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Thank you very much for your help. I have done this. The Sky box responds to the remote, it's just the TV doesn't respond. So I have a green light on the Sky box but it says no signal on the TV. I've checked the connnections too.

Hi @Jane74 

First make sure that the Television is switched on and is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.

This will change the Q box to standard resolution which will work for all TV’s.

Thank you again. I have done all of this but the message on the screen is still No Signal so nothing happens when I press 1080 on the sky remote. So sorry to take your time up.

Hi @Jane74 

Did you press Home 1 0 8 0 Home (ie not just 1 0 8 0)?

If you still get no signal (and you are sure the correct input has been selected on the television)  then maybe there is an issue either with HDMI cable or its connection.  Try another cable if you have one

Still no joy I'm afraid, but thank you so much for trying. I think it maybe needs a new cable. Thank you again.
