I need to move my satellite dish to allow for a new canopy to be built above my front door. I have tried to call customer services but am going round in circles with the automated responses, never actually getting to speak to anyone and being directed here via a text! What is the best number to contact sky on to get this issue resolved please?

Call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn't allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.
All calls will start automated (aka 'the bot') which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.
Sky will charge about £65 for this, so long as there is a suitable alternative place for it.

Re: Relocating satellite dish
Thank you. I tried your tip but apparently everyone is in "essential training" today! Is this likely to be true or are am I just being fobbed off?!

Re: Relocating satellite dish
Training does take place (it has to) but it rarely lasts for more than an hour.

Re: Relocating satellite dish
Obviously everyone else will be too.
Try contacting a local satellite company who may be quicker but get a quote first.

Re: Relocating satellite dish
If you go elsewhere make sure they put the dish easily accessible to a Sky engineer as Skys H & S rules are much more strict and if you have a misalignment and they can't easily get to it they won't carry out the repair.

Re: Relocating satellite dish
Thanks for all your help and advice. Perseverance with the customer services number I found on google has paid off and I have a sky engineer coming on 17 July 😊
