Recording failed, no subscription
Hello again, I need advice. Sometimes I get a message on my TV screen if one of my recordings has failed and it will say recording failed no subscription. Why would I be getting this message as I know it's not true as I have paid on my bills and my sky account is in credit and up-to-date. Does anyone else ever have this problem? It doesn't happen very often thankfully but I was just wondering what would be causing it?

On screen message recording failed no subscription
Sometimes I get a message on my TV screen saying recording failed no subscription however I know this cannot be true as my sky account is fully up-to-date and in credit I am very meticulous about this. I always keep my sky account in credit and pay a little bit extra so that it comes off the next months bill so why then would I get this message telling me that I don't have a subscription and that that is why the recording has failed? Thankfully it doesn't happen very often but I'm just wondering has anyone else experienced this and what is causing it?

What are you trying to record , how have you scheduled it and on which channel(s)
Occasionally some programmes are shown on multiple channels & it is possible your subscription would not allow recording from the alternative channel
I have a vague feeling I have seen this happen for a couple of customers for some strange reason but I cannot remember the reasons.
