Reclaim my tv remote

Since getting SKY Q, I can't access any settings on my LG TV, to access sound outputs, Bluetooth  etc. I've followed in line advice about going into settings but the options they say to choose just aren't there. Half the advice says change my tv settings but I can't access my tv settings!

A paired Q remote is intended to access television volume and power only.  Whether other television settings are available or not is pretty much random: as @Daniel0210 indicates you need the television remote to reliably get to those (and pairing the Q handset has no impact on the functionality of the television remote)
