Re: Relocate sky dish due to building work

Been on the phone to Sky for 90 minutes! I need to move my dish, I have skyq. Can I use an independent engineer or does it have to be Sky?  Any help/advice will be great. Thanks

@SK+G yes, you can get an independent satellite installer to move it for you - in fact it is likely the scaffolding will have been removed before sky could get an installer to you.

@SK+G

The lines will be busy because of the Sky Glass issues. Sky charge about £65 for this (and the same to put it back afterwards). You can get an independent engineer to do it at your own expense but make sure they have the correct equipment to align the dish and place it in a position that Skys Health and Safety regs allow them to work on in the future.
