Q remote randomly turns on both box and tv

Have set up the remote to turn on tv at same time as Q box, but it only works every now and then. Anyone else have this problem?

TV is LG OLED55 B8

Not the same TV as you, but mine works like this:

Handset ON/OFF button

1.  Short press turns on QBox and TV

2. Another short prss, once they are on, turns off Q Box.

3. A longer press then turns off TV.

Took the wife sometime to tell the difference from a short ptess and a long press.
