Q box remote control Input Source Control button. I pressed by mistake & don’t know how to cancel it

The recording that I was watching disappeared (black screen) and the TV was broadcasting a radio programme called TalkSport. The volume buttons were working.

Hi @Marybr 

Press the input button slowly multiple times and it should cycle through all the inputs on your TV set.

Stop when you get back to the Sky Q picture

I don't think there is a way to use the sky Q box remote control as I can cycle through the various input sources using the top right button but pressing the ok button doesn't select and change to the desired source. As I don't have my tv remote anymore I have to do it manually with the buttons at the lower right on my tv.

Most TV's will automatically select the input as you cycle though.  For me, it will automatically select after a short pause.

The remote was only ever designed to send volume, power and AV functions if correctly configured.

Yeah it cycles for me automatically. I don't have to hit enter

If it didn't on my TV, I'd buy another remote for the TV.
