Q box interference
When my Q box is turned on my phone picks up a Sky Wi-Fi signal which seems to suppress my Gigaclear WiFi even though they are no way near each other. Can the sky signal be turned off?

Yes, but unless you use Ethernet the Q won't be able to connect to the Internet?
Hover on Settings, Hit 0 0 1 Select to enter the engineer's menu and WiFi can be disabled.

Yes.
You need to access the installer menu:
From the Sky Q Home screen navigate down to Settings in the left hand menu, but do not select Settings (i.e. click into it).
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 on your remote keypad and then click on the circular dot button in the middle of the 4 directional arrows on your remote to confirm.
Next, select Network, then highlight the 5GHz wireless option and press select to turn it off.
You need to keep the 2.4GHz option on if you are connecting to your Gigaclear router via WiFi, but can also turn that off if you are using Ethernet.
Note you can't do this if you have any Mini boxes in use, otherwise they will stop working. In which case, go into your phone WiFi settings and get it to forget the Sky network it is picking up.

Why don't you tell your phone to forget the Sky WiFi?
