Programmes still recording despite removing series link

Please help!

 

For ages and ages, we have had the issue where we remove a series link but the programme continues to record.

 

At my wits end here, any help appreciated!

Have you checked all recordings in the scheduled menu?

@Collinsc 

Have you removed the series link first before deleting the scheduled recording and also made sure there isn't multiple entries for the same program ?

As @caesarome and @PandJ2020 have indicated, go into…

 

Recordings / Scheduled / find the programme / remove series link / then cancel recording

 

That's what Sky will advise if you contact them. (Sky won't respond to you on here).

When you do this you will still (usually) get one more recording. Although the link is scheduled it would have already created the next recording.

 

So you have to cancel the link and also find the next episode and cancel that too.

@Chodley This is still happening... how can i escalate this please?

 

Below screenshots show:

1. The programme series has been deleted

2. The programme has STILL downloaded

3. The programme has "Add deries link" proving that I have not scheduled the series record.

 

What I neglected to do is get a photo to show that the next episode has not been recorded 'individually',

P.S No critiquing of the 'Married at First Sight' viewing (It's the Wife's... honest)

There's no escalation from here.  You will have to call Sky.

Has it downloaded (not recorded) because the previous episode was watched so it teed it up?
