Programme unavailable on sky Q minibox

Tried watching the mini box and the planner and my recordings are showing but states programme unavailable 

 

I have rebooted the main box then the mini box.

Reset the network and pressed the wps on the main box.

 

Nothing else has changed 

 

Tells me to check subscription even on bbc

@Tvwatcher246 what recording is it ?

it's not something that  is in the UHD format as mini boxes are incapable of playing anything that is UHD

Not a uhd and bbc is not in uhd. Actually it was star wars from itv recorded

No it was starwars recorded on itv. And bbc won't play ....nothing is available

I've got this same problem. My Sky Q box is working perfectly, except it says recordings not available. My Sky Go on my I-Pad connects to Sky Q box. My Sky Q mini says internet fine and connected to Sky Q Box, but no TV programmes or recordings will connect, although they appear on the Home page. Tried phoning Sky and it just puts me into a online help route that offers no answers to this problem.

I've now fixed this. I first had to disconnect power to all Sky devices. Then start up my Sky Q box. This step restored the lost recordings on that. 

 

Although it was already checked as 'on', I then reactivated the "connect to Sky Q mini box" in Settings. Then I restored power to my Sky Q mini box. Quite evidently some communications disconnect had occurred.


It's frustrating though that phone help isn't more easily available. This took me an hour to resolve as finding the  reactivate Sky Mini command isn't easy, and then reactivate didn't work without prior rebooting the main Sky Q box.
