Programme cannot be recorded

Why am I getting this notice? Why can't I record some programmes?

This happens occasionally. Leave it a few days to see if it changes if it's for next week sometime. Alternatively email the Viewer Relations Team at viewerR@sky.uk

 

They can liaise with the channel concerned if it's not a Sky owned channel.

We get this once in a bluemoon, turning off or unplugging the box for at least 30 seconds and waiting for it to reboot has always (so far) solved the issue.

Can’t delete recordings, can’t rewind, I hate my new sky box!

Since I've had this new box (which I didn't need) I can't delete recordings, I can't add or remove series links, I can't rewind live programs - I hate this box!

Can you record shows now then? How did you resolve that particular problem?

 

Have you put the box into standby and then turned off or unplugged the box for at least 30 seconds?
