Problems voice sync Sky Sports main event UHD

It's not been an issue for me until this weekend. Nothing has changed on my side - so it must be on Sky's side. 

All other channels are fine.

It's in the broadcast.  Not had a problem with any other UHD either live/downloaded.

I first commented in this thread in Sept 23 and since then I've had the issue occasionally (and only slightly out) in UHD and with the F1. Today however it returned with a vengeance and was miles out of sync in UHD and F1 again. How on earth has this still not been sorted?!?

I had ludicrous sync issues again watching F1 Qualifying. It's way more than a whole word out of sync. As a comparison, I downloaded an episode of GoT in HDR and the lip sync was nothing like it. It's definitely a Sport and especially F1 issue (I also often see it with live football)

Watching the Azerbaijan F1 UHD coverage and the sound is so out of sync it's ridiculous,  it only that instead of getting the sky pad replays I'm seeing slow motion footage of drivers wandering around. This is a joke Sky, never had an issue like this ever before, please sort it out.

Agree, however it seems it is rare for it to actually be in sync and has been that way for a long time. Sky don't even wish to acknowledge it's an issue.

I recored the UHD and HD of all F1 sessions so far this weekend. the UHD is un-watchable, if thats a word! but the HD stream also has lag just very minor, You would think Sky presenting their premier and expensive purcahse would check the quality, I wish I had access to the FOM  UHD streams but they are not avaiable in the UK. I'm sure Liberty would not be happy if they knew SKY was not providing the quality that is required from a partner broadcaster. If anyone has access to a UHD world feed I would love to know if the audio sync is OK or not ?

It's a known problem that has been going on for years. Sky know full well, there was an internal Sky document online proving it, but it's now been taken down and my previous posts on this thread about it have been deleted.

its 100% a broadcast problem, which only happens on live UHD. The platform doesn't have the bandwidth to handle proper sync, basically, for the atmos offering. 

Report it individually to the sky exec support team is the only hope. Do not accept any push back on your setup, box or sound bar. It is 100% broadcast related

It's really been amateur hour for Sky Sports F1 this weekened. Why didn't anyone realise that the footage being broadcast from the "Skypad" was completely unrelated? They could have just kept the camera on Karun and the screen rather than keep cutting to it.

It's quite embarrassing really.

Yea, this happened yesterday after qualy as well, why do they keep cutting away from the skypad footage with Karun??

This sound sync  issue has been on 401 for the Cricket during the day and is now on the darts

You see the dart hit the board and you can have swig of your pint before you hear it hit!

Yep it's been awful for a few days now. It really is unacceptable to pay for uhd when it's not watchable.

I am having the same issues tonight trying to watch the darts... had to go to HD as UHD was awful!! Why am I paying extra for UHD??
