Problem with mini box

I can't get my recorded programs on the mini box. Apps and normal TV are fine

@TerryFlinn
Is that a message generated from your TV which could mean your TV’s not seeing the Sky box on the relevant HDMI input.

@TerryFlinn

Presumably you aren't trying to watch a UHD recording on the mini box?

Re: Problem with mini box

No. Up to Monday every recording worked fine. Since then the screen advises that it can't link with tv1.

I have tried rebooting without success

@TerryFlinn when you say you have rebooted did you reboot your main box first

then

Reboot the mini box

Re: Problem with mini box

Hi Daniel

Thanks for helping however I seem to have solved the problem by deleting all the retained programmes.  I suspect the storage may have been too much for the mini box

Nothing is stored on the mini box.

Re: Problem with mini box

  • I suspect the mini box may have attempted to upload all of the programmes but that is just a guess.  I have successfully recorded a programme on the main box and viewed it on the mini box so somehow the system has corrected itself.

Hi @TerryFlinn   The Mini box does not store anything, in computer terms it is a thin client with no storage facilities. Everything is streamed from the Main box.
