I am unable to watch taped programmes or tape programmes as it says there is a problem with the hard drive.

Hi @Cathy Try rebooting your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot?
If you are still having the same problem after the reboot, then you will need to call SKY and talk to an advisor about a box replacement.
