Probelms with Q BOx

I have a sky q box and broadband from BT. Both working well until the last few months. I switch on Sky to get a message indicating that I have no internet connection. I have tried all that has been suggested. BT indicated that I needed a booster box. Booster box aquired and connected. No improvment, still getting same messages and having to connect to my wifi manually puting the password in. Once again phoned BT to be told that it is the Q box not remembering the password and so not connecting automatically to the WiFi each time I switch on and that it is a Qbox issue. I see a number of the Sky community with a similar complaint. I have tried the suggestions posted without it making any difference. Any help would be appreciated
