Postcode not recognized

I Cannot access my Sky app as it does NOT. Recognize my postcode . I live in a 40 year old house not a new estate so really annoying . I've tried with a space and without still won't recognize. Can anyone help so I can avoid ringing the robot . Which I've had to do about the failure to send the correct router when switching from BT . So tempted to just accept the BT offer to stay . Sky has until Monday Pm to sort themselves out or I will stay with the BT equipment
