Port Forwarding number

We are with BT business broadband who require us to obtain a port forwarding number in order to connect our skyQ  to the internet (BT Business Broadband). Does anyone know how to open the port to obtain the number to give to BT?

Weird. There's no incoming connection so don't know why it would need port forwarding.

 

Do they mean they think they have to open an outgoing non-standard port for the Q to connect to services it needs on the internet?

 

Maybe it's something to do with CG-NAT.

IIRC Sky do not officially support 'business' broadband for consumer Q units.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
