Poor installation from both the sky engineer setting up the dish to open reach setting up broadband

The sky engineer has ruined to look of the outside of my house with the poor installation of wiring.  The black box is not attached and thr underneath has melted out and pulled all the paint off my brick.work. also has not banged the nails in which is a danger to anyone dho could accidently lean or put their hand on them.

Secondly the open reach guy has not set up the broadband correctly. The ONT box is loose on the wall and we have since installation had no or intermittent broadband. The wire into the ONT box is  not permanently work and constantly flickers. We have rang and asked for an new callout but been text to say all working because clearly they have checked it from the exchange? Also the open reach guy has left a lot of nails protruding the walls too!!! Our contract finishes in September.  I think if this is not sorted ASAP we will be leaving Sky after 18 years....

@Chrissy.g  How long ago was the installation done as you mention September when your minimum term ends (not your contract as that ends when you cancel).

 

If the installation was done almost 18 months ago you've left it abit late to bring these points up?

 

You should aso be aware you're only telling other custimer via the forum and threats to leave won't work.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
