Poor RTE2 and TG4 signal

I have good satellite signal and hi speed broadband connectivity. However, I have poor signal on RTE2 and TG4 only with pixelated picture and poor sound. Any suggestions?

What sky system do you have? Sky stream sky glass, sky q etc?

The Internet broadband should not have an affect on reception on sky q, as the channels are carried on satellite,  unlike Stream or Glass.

Pixellation might be caused by some interference on the frequency in signal. Is there similar issues for virgin 4,  u&gold, sky sci-fi, or u&alibi?

Is the pixellation constant? Or at some times?

Re: Poor RTE2 and TG4 signal

Just checked now 1pm Jun 23, and ALL channels are streaming perfectly. It is an intermittent issue. It was very poor reception last night which is a real issue on RTE2 for World Cup games!!

If there's a slight dish misalignment then it will be more susceptible to rain scatter.

Re: Poor RTE2 and TG4 signal

OK, thank you. So should I now contact Sky to get the dish alignment checked?
