Plagued by video glitches
On all channels (HD and UHD) and on live as well as recorded content I have been suffering video glitches every 15 minutes or so for several weeks (1-3secs of pixellation with audio dropout). Sky engineer came out last week and couldn't find any problem: my gigabit hard-wired network was the best he had ever seen; my Cat6 switches/hubs were all gigabit (he said that most glitching problems were caused by 100mbps switches as the Q box with Minis needs gigabit to work properly even though its network port is only rated 100mbps); my cables were all good; my satellite signals were strong; and there was negligible interference from other devices. So he assumed my 5-year old Q box was starting to fail and swapped it out for a new one (32B12C). Nice chap. Seemed clued up. But 10 minutes after he left, the glitches were back.
I had a similar issue a couple of years ago which was ony eventually cured by the Q170 software update. It came back with Q190 and has been ongoing since then and has recently got worse. Am I alone? Can Sky fix it?

@Q-tipsI can't solve your problems but "the Q box with Minis needs gigabit to work properly even though its network port is only rated 100mbps)" Is a load of rubbish and not true.

I under-explained. He said that specifically in relation to mesh systems. I questioned it but he insisted that upgrading to gigabit switches/hubs cured most of the similar issues.
