Pixelation & Picture Quality Issues

Hi.  I've been having a lot issues lately with blue/purple squaures covering the screen when watching our Sky Q box lately. Slso, when watching recordings quite @ Few instances of pixelation. None of these issues happen when using th3 apps such as Netflix or using my Apple TV box so definitely not the TV.

 

I have checked the signal strength menu which says 60 and quality 90.

 

any ideas on why these pictures issues are happening please?

@Grecophile1975  I've had something similar happen which a reboot of the Sky Q box resolved. Switch it off at the wall, leave it 30 seconds and restart.

I have tried rebooting the box a few times and still having the same issue.  I noticed today for the first time that the squares also appear on my ipad when watching a recording from the Sky Q main box.

You may need to ask Sky to check the alignment of your dish.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
