Any package with Sky Q will let you record, pause and rewind. Sky Signature is the basic one that gives access to Sky Boxsets in SD or HD if you then add the HD pack.

Re: Picking a package

To ensure you can record, pause, and rewind live TV, you need to subscribe to the Sky Q package. This package includes features such as:

Recording: You can record multiple shows simultaneously.

Pause and Rewind: You can pause live TV and rewind it to watch missed moments.

On-Demand Content: Access to a library of on-demand shows and movies.

Other packages like Sky Glass do not offer the same level of recording functionality as Sky Q. Therefore, if your primary goal is to have comprehensive control over your viewing experience with recording capabilities, Sky Q is the recommended choice.

To access these features, you must subscribe to one of the packages that include Sky Q. The following packages are typically available on Sky Q:

Sky Q Entertainment Package: This package provides access to a wide range of channels along with the ability to record shows.

Sky Ultimate TV Package: This includes everything in the Entertainment package plus additional channels and content options.

Sky Sports or Movies Add-ons: If you’re interested in sports or movies specifically, these add-ons can be included with your base package.

@Kylie10 Sky have changed their packages and some of the packares that @BRW1983 talks about are no longer available on Sky Q

The cheapest package that Sky do is the Essentials pack which give you only the freesat channels ie free to air channels but does allow you to record and pause and rewind

The first full subscription package that Sky provide and the normal base pack needed for addons  is Sky Signature as @caesarome says which gives access to all the free to air channels and the Sky channels and many other channes but only in SD it also gives you access to on-demand and catchup in SD. If you want HD you need to take out the HD subscription. if you want UHD you need to add the UHD pack You also are able to record, pause and rewind.

Then there is the ultimate package which gives you access to all the above and access to netflix

Sky ceased the entertaiment package on Q in around 2020/21 when Sky signature was introduced and the ultimate package was changed around the same time

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
