What issue are you trying to resolve.  We can't post numbers, other than 150 if you have a Sky service.

Re: Phone number

Hi thanks for reply, I'm trying to contact sky tv as I've just renewed/updated my contract over phone with them.

Set up new contract paying over phone with bank, bloke told me my documents would arrive next day (Wednesday) by DHL, DHL arrived tea time with pack containing new Iphone17 ???

Someone from here phoned an hour or so later saying there'd been a mess up and my doc's were send to someone else and I'd got thier parcel, I was instructed to give tme parcel to post man next day (Thursday/yesterday) ,post man  will label it and take away which I did.

He said my doc's would be here tomorrow (yesterday) with DHL, (never came),

Been trying to contact Sky on number he gave me to call back if I needed to (same number as he called me on[removed]), tried ringing this today and immediately get message "the service can not be connected" (on landline).  I tried returning his call on my mobile (which he called me on) but it just shuts down as soon as it's connecting?

Tried online btut there's no option to address this query, so trying to find a number to get through to a person.

Try again. The automatic filters may have snaffled it if there was something on there it didn't like (such as a phone number, email address etc).

Re: Phone number

I put a number in there, Tuesday I called sky and renewed my contract and paid over phone with bank, bloke gave my number to call if needed, he said dcuments would arrive at mine tomorrow (Wednesday).

DHL came in evening and delivered parcel but was a Iphone 17 and not my doc's, someone called me an hour or so later informing me thered been a packing error and my doc's had been sent to someone else and their phone to me, he instructed me to give to postman in morning (thursday/yesterday), postie would put label on and take back, (which I did).

Bloke said my doc' would come via DHL tomorrow (Thursday), they never came and I've been trying to comminicate with sky all today, none of online help features covers this and the phone number the sky rep' gave me to call (same as number he called me to tell of mistake) doesn't work! if I call this from landline I just get "the service can not be connected" and if I reply to his call (which is on my mobile it just shut down rather than connecting.

That's why I aked for a phone number to contact a human at sky.

I think you've been the victim of a scam. That scenario is a regular scam. I have the feeling you gave the device to

  • either a person other than a postman or
  • the label was to the scammers, not Sky.

The scammers obtain sufficient information to be able to order expensive mobile devices under your name which Sky innocently deliver to you.

The scammers would then recontact you (again claiming to be Sky) saying they have made a mistake and for you to send it to a (non Sky) address. If you did that they then have the device and you have the bill.

They are very cunning. They may send packaging to post the item (to them) or might even send a 'courier' to collect it.

See this link

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/account-takeover

With any calls from 'Sky' (especially unexpected calls) if the caller asks for your previously agreed telephone password to confirm you're the account holder (which I would expect a genuine Sky agent to do) initially give an INCORRECT one on purpose. If the caller doesn't challenge it then you know it'll be a scam call.

@RichardSadd I concur with @Daniel0210 it is a scam I'm afraid

@RichardSadd

I have added to my earlier post.

You need to contact Sky asap.

These are the current methods for contacting Sky, and depending on the issue some will be more appropriate than others …

🟢 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls will start automated (aka ‘the bot’) which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.

🟢online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.

🟢Sky Assistant 💬 should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.

🟢Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on Facebook or Instagram, (links at the bottom of the forum page).

🟡Note ~ ROI customers If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of any link is showing the correct flag and change if required. The Sky Ireland phone lines have different operating hours to the UK and are closed at a weekend.

Re: Phone number

I have contacted Sky and sorted that, contacted bank who are issuing new card and investigating, all seems to be ok in my account apart from 30 quid taken and they can find no evidence of reacuring payment being set but will monitor and sort if it happens next month.

I don't understand how they got me! I never clicked in mail that informed me my sky account was coming to end (which it is) and didn't use any phone number in it either, seems like a coincidense that when I googled sky phone numbers I found one that was fraudulent.

Thank you all for replying

You used google to find a number to call Sky?

Always get numbers from a vendor's website - although, I admit Sky don't make this easy!  (Numbers to appear if you click around enough)

@DaveDrizen

Which we don't recommend as some can end up being premium rate numbers as per the post from @PandJ2020 or even scams.

The OP has stated they've already contacted Sky.

Official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

@DaveDrizen That's is a bit of bad advice, it's well known that Google doesn't always provide official numbers for Sky, many will be premium rate(with no warning) or just straight up scam numbers claiming to be official.

The only way to absolutely sure your calling Sky is by getting the number from the contact us page on the Sky website.
