Password

I am being asked for a verbal password to my account. I cannot remember it. How do I find it or change it?

Only Sky should be askjng for your telephone password. Tell them upfront that you can't remember it and want to change it. They'll identify you by other means and you'll then be able to create a new telephone password.

@TH1525

When you call Sky they will ask you for a pre-agreed telephone password in order to confirm you are the account holder or acting on their behalf. This isn't your account password. If you can't remember it say that when you call Sky. They will ask questions to verify your identity then you can agree a new telephone password for future contact.

Re: Password

Thanks for your speedy replies. My husband is the account holder and is away, so I am trying other ways of getting my sky q out of standby. I'm afraid I cannot abide sky and as for the sky q box, it's constantly going wrong. Rubbish.

Re: Password

I've managed to sort my sky q standby issue by myself without any help from sky whatsoever, as usual. Thanks to you two for replying though, it seems the only people interested in helping customers are those not paid by sky.
