Part recorded, Software Issue.

Over this week, our Sky Q box is not recording, we either get a message - Part recorded, Software issue or it doesn't record at all. 

When playing a recording, it pixels, jumps and misses parts. The recordings will not fast forward, the bar moves but the picture doesn't. Recordings then  take a while to delete. 

Also when on TV guide selecting a different program the screen goes black for around 10 seconds.

Try the box restart or box hard drive reset as described in the link below.

If that does not resolve your problem ,you can order a replacement box online in the same article;

Thank you, we tried the box reset and so far programs are recording okay now, if it happens again we'll try the hard reset.
