Paramount plus in german

Paramount plus home page is coming on in German and asking me to

sign in . I try and sign in and get the message it cannot sign me in at this time . I have changed my password with paramount plus , the app is linked to my sky account with sky cinema and I pay extra for ad free . I have called customer services 3 times now and sky have told me my paramount plus account has been hacked and to call them as sky don't have the answer apart from the account being hacked . 
called paramount plus ( online chat ) he ran me through the sign in process again and again the home page comes on in German . The outcome of the conversation was it was a technical issue  ( really 🤔! ) and they would get back to me . We have been sky customers for 25 years + and am appalled at the lack of concern  re hacked account and secondly why can they not resolve this or give a valid explanation . 

has anyone else had this issue with paramount plus ? This has been going on for 4 weeks now

That would be because it's not unusual.

There's no actual 'hacking' involved: typically the username/password combination is either guessed, inadvertently entered by the user in an insecure (or completely fake) environment or was reused elsewhere online and leaked from there.

Does P+ have a "kick all other devices off" option somewhere like netflix does?

And can you not just change the language on the homepage once you get logged in? I'm not really surprised it comes on in German again. Just changing your password isn't going to change that setting.

Have you tried logging in via a web browser to your Paramount + account.

When in there,from the left menu scroll down to account and click on sign out of all devices.

It may take a few hours for that to action.

But would suggest after doing so.

Restart your broadband router/hub, restart your main Sky Q box and any Sky Q minis and then do a refresh apps on all your Sky Q boxes, as below;

1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings.
2. Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu.
3. Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box. You'll see a message that says 'Your apps are being refreshed'. This will stay on screen until you press Dismiss to return to normal viewing - we recommend waiting at least 5 minutes before doing so.

Good morning,

My Dad had the same issue with Paramount coming up in German. We rang Sky twice to no avail. We also contacted Paramount who said it was a Sky issue. Very frustrating as you can imagine. 

My Dad just happen to mention to my husband that it didn't seem as if the sky box was updating so hubby did a hard reboot of the sky box (he found out on a google search what to do). While the box is switched on disconnect it by pulling out the power lead. Leave it like this for 2 to 3 minutes then plug it back in. It will take a little while for the sky box to restart. This worked for my Dad's sky box and now the Paramount app works as it should.

I will try it. Iv already turned the box of by the plug twice and that didn't work.

No on my phone it's English but I still can't log on. I just get directed to choose a package or back to start saying sign out. Have no options to watch anything just log on screen

Hiya this issue is happening to me as well, has been for weeks and nothing seems to fix it

Same here, unable to login on any device currently.

I have fixed this for us, hope this works for you:

1. Clicked on "AUSLOGGEN" (which means logout)
2. This returned the app to English for me
3. I then clicked on "ACTIVATE" and had to reaccept cookies
4. I was then able to log in with the password I used previously on the TV

It's not worked at all for me, gone round in circles. Called sky again today to try and fix it and they've hung up one five times, an hour wasted!
