Paramount+ not working

The paramount+ on my sky glass is very slow and sometimes gets stuck on the opening logo screen and won't load at all. The sky puck won't load past the logo screen either. Anything I have eventually tried to watch just gets stuck on a bufffering screen. I only took out the sky cinema package today and if it's not going to work I don't want to pay for it for 24 months

Noticed recently a number of you having some similar Paramount + issues on both Sky Gkass and Sky Stream

Ive combined them into this single thread.

 

Ive alerted Sky in our Superusers closed area to a possible common problem.

For now I will temporarily mark this as an answered post, until anything further gets posted from Sky on the issue.

 

Just to make sure.

Please try the following if you have not done so already.

 

Settings  restart;

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

 

Refresh your apps;

  1. Press Home on your Sky remote, then select Settings
  2. Press System management then Resets and updates and finally Refresh apps.
  3. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
  4. Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.
    The refresh can take 24 hours to complete.

Try a restart of your broadband router, with your Sky Glass TV and/or Sky Stream puck in standby.

Once the broadband is back, start up your Sky Glass TV or Sky Stream puck, watch a live tv channel for about five minutes before launching the Paramount + app.

Sky Q, main boxes and mini boxes.

sometimes loads to menu but will not play content.

Having issues here as well with Paramount+. Almost useless piece of words I don't want to use right now. How is it that we live in 2025, and yet big companies like sky can offer this type of horrible service. I don't care if it's a free add on. Either make it work or take it off. 

 

Why has everyone suddenly come to accept the worse service possible from these companies.

Paramount plus

Having trouble logging into paramount plus app on my sky q box. Keep getting different messages such as Internet not working or it just sits on a black screen. Got as far as the menu at one point then it froze.

Paramount not working

Paramount not working keeps buffering and not loading on Sky Q box. Netflix is very slow to load too

 Went to watch a programme and I was logged out. Tried to log back in and it won't work

Was working for me for a couple of days but is now stuck on a black screen. Have reset puck loads of times, disconnected it from Internet, unplugged it all sorts but same issue. Other apps on puck work absolutely fine.

Paramount+ app not working

Last two days I've been unable to get into Paramount+ via the app on my Sky Q box. Sometimes I get a black screen, sometimes the logo, sometimes the user list. Twice I've got to the programme page. But a lot of the time I get a spinning wheel of a blank screen.

 

Occasionally I get a message saying it's an internet issue (which it can't be as all other apps work) or that it's a problem their end.

 

Paramount+ app works on my TV (but is unwatchable due to sound issues) and on my fire TV in the bedroom, and via my phone. So just appears to be a Sky issue? Bit frustrating!

Have moved/combined your posts.

 

Just to make sure.

First try the following if you have not done so already.

 

Power restart;

  1. Press Standby on your Sky Q remote, then switch off or unplug at the mains and wait for the lights on your Sky Q box to turn off.
  2. Plug in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
  3. Wait for the on-screen instructions to disappear then press Home on your Sky Q remote. 
    Some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Refresh your apps;

  1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings
  2. Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu
  3. Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
  4. Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.
    The refresh can take up to 24 hours to complete.
