Paramount mysky2020

I recently ended my subscription to paramount as i was to get it free with sky cinema. However its saying i cant activate the one with sky cinema even though the otherone has been cancelled and is pending cancellation since sept 29. Its now nov3.  Wont let me change, cancel or activate anything till the pending cancellation goes through. Sky tried to help but ultimately bounced me from department to department. I think i was transferred 7times.

It works like this, taken from the Sky help article for Paramount+ Sky cinema subscribers.

Your pending cancellation state may be causing the issue.

Expect, the cancellation will not action until the actual month end that your Paramount payment ran for.

 

Do you pay for your Paramount+ subscription with another provider? If so, you should cancel your subscription with them before activating a Paramount+ account with Sky, to avoid being charged.

Want to use your same login details? Cancel your existing subscription and wait for it to expire before completing the sign-up process with Sky. Your existing account won't automatically be cancelled when you activate an account with Sky, and we can't refund any period of overlap.
