Paramount+ freezing

The Paramount app on my sky q box keeps freezing when watching shows. I get a green screen or picture freeze. I'm also having issues with the Disney app. The only way around it is to use my Apple TV to watch the apps instead.

I have reset the box and tried refreshing the apps

The Paramount+ app is very poor in general. You're actually better off using your Apple TV regardless, its newer and its processing power is vast compared with Sky Q and it's an altogether nicer experience. (Unless like me you don't like the Fisher-price rounded corners on everything!). It also supports Dolby Vision which the Sky Q hardware does not.

Then use your Apple TV box for apps - it's a proper streaming device, designed for such a purpose. Sky Q is a satellite PVR with some apps thrown in for convenience. Apps like Disney+ and Paramount+ are memory hungry and Sky Q simply does not have enough memory to run them consistently.
