Same here! Was about to call BT and rant at them about their Internet but speed test was fine so thought I'd see if it could be a Sky issue! Husband heavily into Yellowstone, but its currently unwatchable, hes not happy! Only been an issue for us for a few days so far though was fine for weeks. And keep coming down in the morning and the sky box fan is full pelt which is also new!

Want to add my name to this thread as an unhappy customer experiencing the same issues on my Sky Q box when watching Paramount+.
Could a Sky Employee please respond with solutions or updates to how the issue is being addressed by Sky please?

I have full fibre @900mb and it still does the same. But if i use the Paramount App on a smart TV there is no issue.
I also use a 1gb full http 1gb Synchronous at work. Connected outside lan i get 1024mb/1024mb and still get the same buffering issue.
However, if i log directly in to Paramount Plus via a browser there is no issue.
This is definitely a Sky issue and i wish i could find a resolution.

I have the very same issue. My internet speed is fine usually between 60-85mb. No buffering on any app other than when using paramount + through Sky.
Sky and paramount need to find a fix soon as it is seriously annoying and ruins the content your watching.

Same here. Doesn't happen every time I use the app on sky, but when it does, I use the paramount plus app on my iPad no problem. Clearly a sky issue.

Another buffering victim here. I only got P+ to watch Frasier. The first episode was mostly ok but it started buffering about 10 minutes from the end. I've had to give up on the second episode. It doesn't go more than 20 seconds before buffering. My internet is 70mb so I doubt that is the issue.

Best theory is the the sky box is woefully underpowered as in graphics and chips.
most apps now buffer or take longer to open the navigation is slow and everything seems to be a chore or a problem for it to handle.
comcast/Sky seem to have also 99% given up on any one using Q as you are not even in their top 5 priorities except for keeping you quiet and making them a payment.
firmly believe there are and always have been tiered customers and just be glad ur not a HD box customer as the stories they give about their experience makes us mere Q customers seem like Sky care.
they obviously just want to shutdown satellites asap and get everyone literally lagging behind on their internet based but cheap to run monstrosity.
Sky now hate the had drive that gave them their biggest success and propelled them to the unassailable no 1 position which is now being exploited as the offering elsewhere is not sufficient.
good business by Sky but a sense of they hate the customer.
just ring or email them to get your own perspective on that.

I am yet another one with this exact issue! Come on Sky... as so many of us are obviously struggling with this, it is about time that you responded to this chat to tell us exactly what you are doing to fix it, or at least help us manage our expectations. This is extremely poor customer service and silence does not make the problem go away! Looking forward to your reply....

Paramount is always slow through sky Q
works brilliantly on Amazon fire stick or any other streaming device
it's a sky Q problem for sure

Same problem all the time for us

Also have it buffering. Every few mins. Reset everything... It's just constant. Numerous "oops errors." and even P+ just gets stuck on the splash page (will not load)... And no issues with other apps on Sky Q.
1gb FTTP with a sky booster also.

Just adding to the list of people unhappy with Paramount+ buffering. Wifi strenth is not the issue as 250Mbps+ in that location of my home. I do like the content but this issue makes it almost unwatchable. Disapointed this thread is 2 months old now and no update - pretty dissapointing.

Hello, I also have the buffering issue and have done since getting the channel in about December last year.
I have also just started getting a new problem, the app completely shuts down. It has only started doing this in the last week, but it is now doing it all of the time. I start watching a show and suddenly I get a black screen.
The first time it happened I had been watching a show for about 30 mins, but it is getting quicker and quicker and is now doing it after about a minute.
The Sky Q box is still on, well the green light is showing, but I have to press the home button and go back into the app to try again.
It is really annoying as there are a lot of good shows on the channel and I have an older TV which does not have the Paramount app, so can't access it that way.
Also, we have FTTP broadband, so the buffering is not due to an issue with Internet speeds.
